LUCIFER is a short film and media performance covering Dmitry Kuznetsov’s ( the rapper Hasky) creative and existential crises.

The project interacts with the rapper's personal biography and explores whether it can be altered, changed and elaborated upon in the public field. Our goal was to create fiction and make it a reality, to infiltrate and shape real news and facts with events which were created and made public: a reshoot of Hasky’s famous GQ interview, leaked footage of the rapper sabotaging his unfinished album, his media-persona’s public suicide outside the window of the Ritz Carlton, a staged funeral and manifest to his transformation as an artist. These events are linked together and elaborated on as a narrative about identity, creative struggle and public pressure.
