With a looming feeling of uncertainty in 2021, we decided to take an unfamiliar perspective on the Earth and turned to these none-humans for a voice.

THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF EARTHLY THINGS is a series of none-human, object oriented idents we wrote and directed for Beat Film Festival. There, a genetically mutated flower growing in the streets of Hong Kong, bacteria living inside melted gummy bears on the dashboard of a car parked in Disneyland, a metal can in the stomach of a dead seagull in Antarctica, and the Deep Water Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
